We continue to love all the new Eric Carle books from the library。 This one is about an industrious spider who ignores farm animals who are inviting her to play because she’s so focused on spinning a web。。。 that is， until a rooster asks her to help catch a pesty fly！* library book* introduced at 1。5 years old

I love how this spider does not allow herself to be distracted from her work？ What would be the good outcomes from this。 Could she have done something to have a better outcome？ If so what and what would the outcome be？ This story reminds me of the story in the Bible when Ezra was rebuilding the temple and refused to come down and chat。 It might be a good book to read when talking about that story。
